WHEN AN INTERCEPTOR MEETS A CLASSIC RR, THIS HAPPENS

LRO (UK) - - News -

Presenting its Chieftain Range Rover at Goodwood’s Festival of Speed, expert restorers and modifiers at Jensen International have struck a chord with visitors. They’ve turned their attention to a 4-door model and built their vision of a ‘2017 Range Rover Classic’.

Judging by their work on Interceptors, they seem to know their trade as far as engine, transmission work and interior redesign.

However, the exterior styling is certainly an acquired taste. They’ve equipped it with air suspension, a 560bhp GM V8 and the 6-speed transmission and transfer box from the AWD Interceptor R.

This must transform the driving experience hugely – but Jensen’s experts say it retains the off-road capability of the Classic.
