Land Rover Classic goes to America
Hard on the heels of the successful launch of Classic centres in Coventry in the UK and Essen-kettwig in Germany, Jaguar Land Rover is taking the concept across the Atlantic.
The Savannah, Georgia centre will open next year in a new 75,000-sq-ft building, fitted with a 42-bay workshop and employing about 75 people. Just like its European cousins, it will offer servicing, restoration and sales of classic vehicles – some of which will have been fully restored.
If the centre is a success, it’s expected that another on the US west coast will follow.
Presumably they had to leave the E-type outside because it wouldn’t start
