Housing trust takes to the road to highlight services on offer

-

A SOCIAL landlord is visiting Poynton as part of its rural roadshow.

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust is staging the event in a bid to take services directly to customers across the region.

The Trust’s Neighbourhood Team will be visiting Poynton at the civic centre on Thursday, from 2-4pm.

There will be information available on a wide range of Trust services, including support for eld- erly and vulnerable customers, money advice services, and the opportunity to give feedback on the trust.

The roadshow will also have a range of family activities, with children’s games, face painting and balloon modelling.

Neighbourhood manager Paul Bollington said “We understand that due to distance our main offices may be too difficult to access for some of our customers, and so we want to bring our services to them.

“The roadshow will be a great way for customers to find out more about the services the Trust offers, but there’s also going to be lots of family fun, so we’d encourage everyone to come along.”

Peaks and Plains Housing Trust is based in Macclesfield and manages 5,000 rented homes across the region
