Macclesfield Express - - SCHOOLS NEWS -

CHILDREN in reception at St Gregory’s Primary School in Bollington are learning all about space for their first topic.

The 14 students have settled in well to their new class taught by Lisa Crook and teaching assistant Sharon Shepherd.

Mrs Crook said: “They are a fabulous class and already fell like part of our family here at St Gregory’s. I am excited for the year ahead with them.”

This week Mrs Crook has been using astronauts and rockets to help the youngsters learn their numbers.

She said: “We’re learning through play by using astronauts rockets and stars in our sand and water area, as well as lots more exciting things.”

The children are looking forward to a school trip to see The Borrowers at Christmas and a visit to Stockley Farm next year.
