Save the date for business awards bash

Macclesfield Express - - BUSINESS SME BUSINESS -

THE the deadline for entries into the North East Cheshire Business Awards has now passed and judges are rifling through applications to come up with a shortlist.

Now all eyes are on the upcoming gala dinner, which will be a chance to celebrate the winners as well as mix with businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Sue Bowden, chamber manager at the Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce, said: “By popular demand the closing date for entries was extended to October 7 and it’s paid off - the number of entries we’ve had this year has been fantastic, they’ve flooded in with a really good mix across all the categories.

“And now the judges have the unenviable task of choosing the winners who will be announced at the glittering black tie gala dinner on November 26 at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Knutsford.

“It will be an incredible evening so even if you haven’t entered this year, please come along and celebrate with the winners at what promises to be one of the most prestigious business events North East Cheshire has ever seen.”

The David Lewis Centre has been chosen as this year’s charity to benefit from this year’s event. Tickets are available individually, or in tables of 10.
