It is a com­mem­o­ra­tion ex­hi­bi­tion of those who were in­volved in the Great War 1914-1918, those who died, and of those who served and re­turned. Where / when is it? Rainow In­sti­tute, Stocks Lane, Rainow Mac­cles­field, SK10 5XR. The ex­hi­bi­tion opens on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 25, and runs un­til Sun­day, Novem­ber 2. Open­ing hours are Satur­day and Sun­day 10am un­til 4pm. Week­days 1pm - 4pm and 7pm un­til 9pm. Who is it suit­able for? The event is suit­able for any­one in­ter­ested in find­ing out more about their rel­a­tives or any­thing about vil­lage life dur­ing that pe­riod of his­tory.
