A NURSERY is celebrating one of its busiest years.

Staff at Kidsunlimited in Tytherington say 2014 was one of its best ever years, after they helped organised a series of different activities – including an anniversary bash, a parents’ breakfast and a graduation ceremony for its leaving infants.

Staff and friends of the nursery also took part in a range of activities throughout last year to help raise £1,000s for charity.

Friends, family, parents and staff from Tytherington’s Kidsunlimited nursery also got involved to help drum up funds for the stillborn family support charity 4louis.

The events were organised in memory of staff member Ali Parry’s daughter, Erin Isobelle, who was stillborn, with the group raising money through donations, raffles, cake sales, auctions and dance sessions which were held at Macclesfield Leisure Centre, on Priory Lane, Macclesfield.

And last month it also held a 10th birthday party for everyone who has used its services in the last decade. Children and parents alike had great fun at the Tytherington Club celebrating the nursery’s last decade in service during the birthday event.

Entertainment enjoyed by the attendees included a bouncy castle, face painting, a photo booth, a Tumble Tots session and Zoo 2 U bought along creepy crawlies and small animals.

Helen Wood, the nursery’s deputy manager, said: “It really has been a wonderful year. We have all been involved in so many great activities and events that its amazing to think that we did it all in only 12 months.

“We always try to be involved with the community as much as possible and everyone in Macclesfield and its surrounding areas has been wonderful in helping what really has been one of our busiest years.” A BABY and Children’s Market will take place at the Tytherington Club.

At the event stalls will sell nearly new baby and children’s items plus a selection of unique businesses in the industry will showcase and sell their products and services.
