For one thing it would make for a rather un­in­ter­est­ing col­umn to say the least.

There’s lit­tle mileage in writ­ing about cor­po­ra­tion pop or ap­ple juice.

I will, how­ever, be putting some of the ex­cesses of the fes­tive pe­riod be­hind me and eat­ing as healthily as pos­si­ble.

For me that means eat­ing more fish, vegetables and fruit. Cui­sine-wise Mediter­ranean dishes are fit­ting, as are Asian dishes, par­tic­u­larly Ja­panese, Thai and some types of Chi­nese food.

Asian food also has the ad­van­tage of of­ten in­clud­ing the holy trin­ity of garlic, ginger and chilli – all great al­lies in the fight against the cold and
