Care home donation
A CARE home helped raise money for East Cheshire Hospice by holding its very own winter fair.
Staff at Prestbury Beaumont, off Collar House Drive in Prestbury, have announced that its recent event managed to raise £187.93 for the hospice.
And now its caring workers have handed the hospice’s fundraising officer Helena Gowler a cheque for the funds, which were also drummed up through the sale of Christmas wreaths created by its gardening and maintenance staff.
Alex Romei, from Prestbury Beaumont, said: “It has been a pleasure to be able to raise funds for the hospice with the fantastic help of local people participating in the fair and through our gardeners’ initiative and creativity on their beautiful wreaths.
“We are looking forward to doubling the sum of money this year and helping the hospice again in the future by hosting more fundraising events.”
