A haunted village in Cheshire is the subject of a talk at the Macclesfield and District Field Club.
The group, which studies local history, nature and the countryside, will hear from ian Doughty at their next meeting at the Salvation Army hall on Roe Street on Monday January 26 at 7.30pm. Entry is £2.
CHESHIRE East’s schools are the third best in England, according to a ranking based on performance in Ofsted inspections.
Out of 141 primary and secondary schools in the borough inspected under the education watchdog 94 per cent were rated good or outstanding.
