Pub set to re­open

A POPULAR pub is set to re­open this Fri­day af­ter un­der­go­ing a £200,000 re­vamp.

The Pack Horse on Chelford Road has been closed since Jan­uary 5 for re­fur­bish­ment, thanks to in­vest­ment by Punch Tav­erns and new land­lord Neil Stevenson.

The pub will large screen TVs and a state-ofthe-art sur­round sound sys­tem for sports fans, and its decor will fea­ture foot­ball and movie me­mora­bilia.

The ex­ter­nal pa­tio area has also been ex­tended to pro­vide more seat­ing.

new of­fer­ing by the pub will be food such as hot­dogs and pizza, and a take­away menu, as well as the usual range of beers, lagers, spir­its and wine.

Doors open from 12pm.
