Char­ity con­cert is a big suc­cess

A CON­CERT to thank char­i­ties for sup­port­ing a boy born with a rare heart con­di­tion has raised £3,600.

The event at St Peter’s Church in Prest­bury called Heart Felt Chords, was or­gan­ised by the fanily of Ted Rourke who was born with Tetral­ogy of Fal­lot.

More than 300 peo­ple helped raise cash for Alder Hey Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal, Bri­tish Heart Foun­da­tion and La­gan’s Foun­da­tion.

Ted’s mum Sian said: “The con­cert was a huge suc­cess. Thank you to the very tal­ented mu­si­cians that at­tended to sup­port our fundrais­ing.”
