●● A POYNTONBASED hous­ing as­so­ci­a­tion has been recog­nised for its com­mit­ment to re­al­is­ing the po­ten­tial of its peo­ple.

John­nie John­son Hous­ing Trust, based on Spin­ners Lane, was awarded the In­vestors in Peo­ple (IIP) Sil­ver stan­dard.

Chief ex­ec­u­tive Paul Dolan said: “We value our peo­ple and by do­ing this, we en­sure that our res­i­dents re­ceive the best pos­si­ble sup­port for all our homes and hous­ing-re­lated ser­vices like As­tra­line. The award con­firms that the Trust is a great place to work, pro­vid­ing first class ser­vice to our cus­tomers and com­mu­ni­ties – we are very ex­cited about what the fu­ture holds.”

To achieve the ini­tial In­vestors in Peo­ple sta­tus a com­pany or or­gan­i­sa­tion has to meet 39 tough stan­dards con­cern­ing the way they train and de­velop their peo­ple.

To achieve sil­ver sta­tus a fur­ther 76 ev­i­dence re­quire­ments must also be met. John­nie John­son Hous­ing Trust met 130.

Paul Devoy, from IIP, said: “Achiev­ing the In­vestors in Peo­ple Sil­ver stan­dard is some­thing that any or­gan­i­sa­tion should be truly proud of.

“We’d like to congratulate John­nie John­son Hous­ing Trust.”
