Dad is run­ning to say thank-you to hos­pi­tal

A DAD is fundrais­ing to thank the hos­pi­tal which cared for his daugh­ter.

Daniel Brown­hill, from Poyn­ton, is sup­port­ing Manch­ester Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal where his daugh­ter Maisy had plas­tic surgery to re­move a rare skin dis­ease.

He has pledged to raise £500 for the hos­pi­tal and has al­ready run the Wilm­slow half marathon and Manch­ester marathon.

Mr Brown­hill, who is manager at es­tate agents Gas­coigne Hal­man in Poyn­ton, said: “It’s a char­ity close to our hearts as our youngest daugh­ter Maisy needed plas­tic surgery to re­move a rare form of skin dis­ease which she had suf­fered from be­ing 18 months old.

“We can’t praise Manch­ester Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal enough for the care and at­ten­tion Maisy re­ceived.”
