Blues squander chance of closing home victory

Cinderford captain Mike Wilcox got the visitors’ third try.
Macclesfield responded with a Jordan Brookes try which put the wind in the sails of the hosts.
The Blues kept the pressure on and Ollie Fewtrell added a fantastic score which Tom Eaton converted to make it 17-22.
On the stroke of half time Brookes snuck in for another try, Eaton converted and gave the home side the lead.
Steffan Hawley regained the lead for Cinderford on 45 minutes and Sheedy added three soon after.
Rhodri Mayor responded for The Blues, diving into the corner, Eaton converted to make it 31-32 and pile pressure onto Cinderford.
Cinderford then secured a penalty try after The Blues bought down a maul that was heading for the line.
The final score came from another Cinderford maul as the game finished 31-44.
