Teenager ad­mits sup­ply­ing drugs

A TEENAGER who ad­mit­ted sup­ply­ing class A drugs in Macclesfield has been sen­tenced by mag­is­trates.

The of­fender, who was 16 at the time of the crime, was caught with 35 MDMA tablets af­ter be­ing ar­rested.

The court heard that the night be­fore his ar­rest he had at­tended an un­der­18s night at Ron­nie’s on Mill Street, Macclesfield.

Of­fi­cers had been called to the event at Ron­nie’s af­ter a num­ber of young­sters be­came un­well due to ingest­ing il­le­gal ‘Nin­tendo’ pills, the hear­ing was told.

The youth, who can­not be named for legal rea­sons, pleaded guilty to sup­ply­ing 15 methy­lam­phetamine tablets in Macclesfield, and an­other charge of pos­sess­ing 35 MDMA tablets with the in­ten­tion to sup­ply them to oth­ers.

He en­tered the guilty pleas at a youth hear­ing at Macclesfield Mag­is­trates’ Court in March and was given a 12 month re­fer­ral or­der at Traf­ford Mag­is­trates’ Court.
