The Su­per Bangers will be out in force com­pet­ing for the Coun­try Stores Cup. This as kindly been spon­sored by Coun­try Store, Froghall Rd Stokeon-Trent ST10 2NA. Th­ese cars are Steel bod­ied with mainly V6 or V8 en­gines and are awe­some to watch around Bux­ton.

Th­ese for­mu­las will be sup­ported by the Ju­nior Bangers - chil­dren aged 10 to 16 - rac­ing pur­pose­built Bangers with a max­i­mum en­gine size of 1300cc. Th­ese are nippy lit­tle cars with even nip­pier racer driv­ers at the helm for some crash­ing ac­tion.

The 1600 Open Rods will also be out in force for their Peaks Cham­pi­onship. Th­ese cars are limited to 1600cc and are strictly non con­tact, so ex­pect fast, ex­cit­ing rac­ing as the driv­ers from the back of the grid try to take the che­quered flag.

To top the day off, or­gan­is­ers have se­cured a cou­ple of mon­ster trucks to come along and per­form some car crush­ing fun. So get ready for some ac­tion in­clud­ing a tug of war and car crush­ing car­nage. Prices for adults are £15 in­clud­ing full race­day pro­gramme, OAP tick­ets £10 and chil­dren aged 9 to 15, £5. Chil­dren up to and in­clud­ing eight year olds go free. Track­side park­ing £6.
