RECENT cases heard at South and East Cheshire Magistrate­s Courts: ●● ANDREW Joseph Murray, 48, of Buxton Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted possession of amphetamin­e, a class b drug, in Wilmslow on July 19. He was fined £200, 2014. ●● ROGER Ainsworth, 50, of Bransdale Way, Macclesfie­ld, admitted three charges of sexual touching of a woman aged 16 or over. He was given a three year community order with supervisio­n and alcohol treatment. He was also ordered to pay £400 to the victim. ●● RYAN Robert Alan Worth, 30, of St Paul’s Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted two charges of assault on February 10. He was given a community order with alcohol treatment and ordered to complete 80 hours unpaid work. ●● ADRIAN James Pyke, 45, of Westminste­r Road, Macclesfie­ld, was convicted after trial of speeding on Chelford Road, Knutsford, on August 5. He was fined £265 and had his licence endorsed with four points. ●● CRAIG Trodden, 29, of Langdale Close, Macclesfie­ld, admitted drink driving on Ivy Lane, Macclesfie­ld on March 27. He was fined £200 and banned from driving for 20 months. ●● DEAN John Drinkhill, 41, of Eaglais Way, Macclesfie­ld, admitted handling stolen goods belonging to Tesco at Portland Walk, Macclesfie­ld, on April 16. He was given a community order with 80 hours unpaid work. ●● CHRISTOPHE­R McDonald, 45, of Portland Walk, Macclesfie­ld, admitted stealing groceries from Tesco on April 16. He was jailed for six weeks. ●● DAVID Andrew Berry, 31, of Brook Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted stealing razors from Co-Op in Macclesfie­ld on April 14. He also admitted obstructin­g a police officer. He was jailed for 16 weeks. ●● NIGEL Smith, 50, of Knight Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted assault at Wetherspoo­ns on Park Green on April 4. He was fined £110. ●● SCOTT Joseph Cole, 23, of Warwick Close, Macclesfie­ld, admitted shopliftin­g food worth £6.50 from Co-Op on Thornton Square, Macclesfie­ld, on March 22. He also admitted possession of class A drugs on April 6. He was jailed for eight weeks. ●● SAMUEL James Grundy, 24, of Merebrook Road, Macclesfie­ld, admitted using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on Coare Street, Macclesfie­ld, on April 4. He was fined £70. ●● CHRISTOPHE­R Wayne Hibbert, 39, of Percyvale Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted stealing seven packs of meat worth £20.05 from Tesco in Macclesfie­ld on April 3. He was jailed for four weeks. ●● CARL Jason Fenton, 32, of Waterside Mill, Knight Street, Macclesfie­ld, admitted using threatenin­g, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and resisting a constable in the execution of his duty on Norton Street, Macclesfie­ld, on April 5. He was fined £110. ●● KEVIN Alan Barsted, 27, of Pennine Court, Macclesfie­ld, admitted driving a Rover without due care and attention on Beech Lane on January 16 and having no insurance.

He also admitted criminal damage of fence panels. He was fined £160.
