Run-up to our big fundraiser
MORE than 200 runners will form part of the East Cheshire Hospice team at Sunday’s Morrisons Great Manchester Run.
The Hospice is delighted local companies Arighi Bianchi and Car Loan 4U are once again sponsoring its involvement in the race.
The support of the two companies means that every penny raised by the runners will directly benefit patients at the hospice.
Arighi, sponsors for the fifth year, will have a team of 60 runners while Car Loan 4U, in the third year of support, are bringing 15 runners.
East Cheshire Hospice is hoping to raise more than £35,000 and still has charity places available at £30 each, with runners asked to raise a minimum of £150 sponsorship for the hospice.

Camilla Crockett, corporate fundraising officer, said: “We’d like to thank Arighi Bianchi and Car Loan 4U for their generous support once again.
‘‘On the day we’ll have a fantastic stand in the charity village at Manchester Central providing free delicious muffins from Café Arighi and free massages to all of our runners.
“There’s a great atmosphere at our stand where runners, their families and friends meet and support each other. We also have a cheering point along the route where we ask family and friends to go along to encourage our runners.”
