Off-field plans in place for Silkmen

-

MARK Blower’s busy summer is not confined to matters on the field.

The Silkmen chairman has also discussed Macclesfield’s future off the pitch, and has revealed there will be a new full-time employee at the club.

“I am delighted to announce that Robert Stirling is returning to the club as a full time general manager, and is starting in early May to support our fantastic team of volunteers,” he said.

“The operational team at the club have met to discuss how we can improve next season, including the match-day experience for supporters, and in the coming weeks we hope to provide an update on those developments.

“It is also important that we focus on non-matchday activities and make the most of the excellent facilities that we have on offer at the Moss Rose.

“We are all part of one team. From the owners, the volunteers, the players, to the supporters.

“Each one has a big part to play in the success of Macclesfield Town, and everyone played their part in making 2014/15 a memorable season.

“With the same effort next season, we can all look forward to another successful campaign.”
