Junior actors in peach of a play
CAST and crew are putting the final touches to their production of Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach.
Bollington Festival Players’ junior members will be performing the famous story at the Bollington Arts Centre on Wednesday June 10, Monday June 15 and Wednesday June 17.
All three shows are at 7.30pm.
There will also be shows at the Sutton scout hut on Church Lane, Sutton, on Saturday June 13 at 2pm and again at 7.30pm.
Taking the lead role of James is Henry Bridgett, while other parts are played by Matt Murdock (Grasshopper), Lauren Wells (Miss Spider), Will Gregory (Centipede), Poppy Lloyd (Ladybird), Susannah Bridgett (Earthworm), Chloe Burnell (Tour Guide), Matt Murdock (Aunt Sponge), Lauren Wells (Aunt Spiker), and Nathan McIntyre-Harrison (Captain).
The show will be directed by Nigel Wells, Emma Sheldon and Josh Bennet.
The production follows on from the success of last year’s show The Big Friendly Giant.
