Ju­nior ac­tors in peach of a play

CAST and crew are putting the fi­nal touches to their pro­duc­tion of Roald Dahl’s James and the Gi­ant Peach.

Bolling­ton Fes­ti­val Play­ers’ ju­nior mem­bers will be per­form­ing the fa­mous story at the Bolling­ton Arts Cen­tre on Wed­nes­day June 10, Mon­day June 15 and Wed­nes­day June 17.

All three shows are at 7.30pm.

There will also be shows at the Sut­ton scout hut on Church Lane, Sut­ton, on Satur­day June 13 at 2pm and again at 7.30pm.

Tak­ing the lead role of James is Henry Brid­gett, while other parts are played by Matt Mur­dock (Grasshop­per), Lau­ren Wells (Miss Spi­der), Will Gre­gory (Cen­tipede), Poppy Lloyd (La­dy­bird), Su­san­nah Brid­gett (Earth­worm), Chloe Bur­nell (Tour Guide), Matt Mur­dock (Aunt Sponge), Lau­ren Wells (Aunt Spiker), and Nathan McIn­tyre-Har­ri­son (Cap­tain).

The show will be di­rected by Nigel Wells, Emma Shel­don and Josh Bennet.

The pro­duc­tion fol­lows on from the suc­cess of last year’s show The Big Friendly Gi­ant.
