Archers’ Lil­ian shares sto­ries for cause

AN ac­tress from The Archers ra­dio show will be shar­ing ‘be­hind the scenes’ sto­ries at a char­ity event.

Sunny Or­monde has played the out­ra­geous and raunchy Lil­ian Bel­lamy in BBC Ra­dio 4’s The Archers for the past 12 years.

She is head­ing to Mac­cles­field for a spe­cial fundraiser in aid of the Mac­cles­field and Dis­trict Live at Home Scheme (MHA). The char­ity pro­vides care, ac­com­mo­da­tion and sup­port ser­vices for older peo­ple.

Sunny, who is pro­vid­ing her time free of charge, will be telling funny sto­ries from her time on the world’s long­est run­ning soap opera, as well as funny anec­dotes from her ca­reer, at the United Re­form Church in Mac­cles­field on Sun­day, June 28.

The evening will also in­clude a ques­tion and an­swer ses­sion with a signed script for the per­son who comes up with the most in­ter­est­ing ques­tion.

The event takes place on Sun­day, June 28, with doors open­ing at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
