Appeal over White Nancy gifts

A SHOP owner wants to reunite some White Nancy products with a customer who bought and mislaid them.

Heather Bamber, from No Place Like Home on Mill Street, Macclesfield, sold a woman called ‘Nancy’ a knitted White Nancy cushion made by Marlene Hargreaves and a White Nancy card with words by John Gaskell and artwork by Ian Coppack.

But more than a week later Heather got a call from staff at Macclesfield Hospital to say they had found a bag with the gifts which had been left in the RVS shop.

Heather said: “I only know her first name but it would be wonderful to reunite her with her lost gifts. I hope someone can help put us in touch.

“My shop is so well supported by Bollington, and White Nancy items are my best seller. Everyday I sell White Nancy gifts created by local artists.”

Call Heather on 01625 440060.
