Charity ball set to raise funds for patients’ beds
PLANS have been announced for the East Cheshire Hospice annual charity ball at Mere Golf Resort and Spa on Friday, November 27.
Winter Wonderland will be the theme, with a target of raising £60,000 towards the charity’s new bed appeal.
Many firms are considering using the event as their staff Christmas party and supporting one of the highlights of the hospice’s fundraising calendar. The organising committee, which includes high profile supporters Claire Thorneycroft, Ginny Blunt and Sharon Ronnie, promise a night of fun and entertainment as they look to beat last year’s total of £57,000.
The committee is keen to hear from any businesses interested in sponsoring elements of the Ball with packages which include tickets. Contact Camilla Crockett at East Cheshire Hospice on 01625 610364 for more information.
Tickets priced £75 each, or £750 for a table of 10, are now on sale at eastcheshirehospice.org. uk/ball. A limited number of VIP tickets are available at £95 each, including priority seating, a gift for each guest and table wine.
New beds are needed for hospice inpatients and it is hoped the charity ball will raise most of the funds for replacements.
