●● MARLBOROUGH Primary School on Tytherington Drive will be holding its annual PTA Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 11.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a host of family fun including a bouncy castle, inflatables and a beat the goalie game run by Macclesfield Football Academy.

There will be a variety of stalls and pupils will also be staging a dance display.

A barbecue with a selection of tasty treats will also be on offer to keep hunger at bay.

Adults can enjoy a refreshing beer from the beer tent while for children there will be candyfloss and ice creams to enjoy.

The event takes place from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

All are welcome and entrance is 50p.

All money raised on the day will go towards PTA funds which in recent years have been used to finance a new playground and playground equipment, IT equipment and a defibrillator.

The school is also holding its annual sports afternoon on Tuesday, July 7, on the school field.

The day begins at 1.30pm and finishes at 3pm.
