●● HOLLINHEY Pri­mary School has ap­plied to build an ex­ten­sion.

The school on Bell Av­enue, Sut­ton, has sub­mit­ted a plan­ning ap­pli­ca­tion to Cheshire East coun­cil to build a new sin­gle storey ex­ten­sion, in­ter­nal al­ter­ations and ad­di­tional car park­ing.

The school build­ing con­tains seven large class­rooms, an assem­bly hall, a ded­i­cated IT suite, a se­ries of smaller teach­ing ar­eas and an­cil­lary staff and ad­min­is­tra­tion ar­eas.

The ex­ten­sion is aimed to im­prove fa­cil­i­ties in the staff and ad­min­is­tra­tion ar­eas.

No build­ings are to be de­mol­ished.
