Which award are you sponsoring? We are the sponsor for the Business of the Year with a turnover of between £1-5 million.
Why have you got involved with the business awards? As an original main sponsor of the NECBA, our reasons for being involved have remained the same over the years. We benefit from the awareness of Orbit in the areas covered by the awards and we believe that this category clearly reflects one of the core activities we undertake – providing space to operate and grow your business. We provide the opportunity for all our customers to grow their businesses with our support by offer- ing larger premises at the time they need them.
Why did you choose to sponsor that particular award? We feel it reflects our business ethics as indicated above.
Why is East Cheshire such a great place to do business? We see the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well in NEC. We have seen high levels of both start-up and growing businesses in this area and we have worked with numerous customers of ours to grow their businesses with our support via access to larger premises at the time they need to relocate.
What is your best piece of business advice? Listen to your customers. Understand their businesses – show interest in their needs and concerns and work hard to provide what they want.
Anything else you would like to add? Think your company is not a suitable entrant to these awards – think again! Improve your local profile and your business success by investing the short period of time it takes to enter.
