OUR Sun­day pro­gram­ming has had a lit­tle bit of a tweak and it is very much a “Lazy Sun­day” with all your favourite pre­sen­ters play­ing some laid-back tunes from the 1950s through to the 2000s.

Tiki Black starts with her ‘I write the songs’ show fea­tur­ing both well-known names and some un­signed artists. We also have our Arts Up­date show with Patti and Gill, keep­ing you up to date with all things ‘arty’ that are hap­pen­ing in the Mac­cles­field area.

Fay Armstrong then comes on air with her Fay’s Mu­si­cal Sonic Stir-fry show, be­fore Matt Isaacs presents two hours of ‘Matt’s magic months’ fea­tur­ing top 40 hits from the cur­rent month from the 1960s to the 1980s.

Jon Cook starts the af­ter­noon pro­gram­ming with Week­end Rolled Gold, be­fore Harry Atkin­son comes along with his Solid Gold show. It’s then Brian Moores with ‘Ra­dio Club’ which fea­tures Po­etry Slam, where lo­cal po­ets air their work, the in­fa­mous ‘Tr­ish’s Dishes’ and in­ter­views with lo­cal peo­ple shar­ing their mem­o­ries. All our shows also fea­ture our what’s on guide of events tak­ing place around Mac­cles­field.
