OUR Sunday programming has had a little bit of a tweak and it is very much a “Lazy Sunday” with all your favourite presenters playing some laid-back tunes from the 1950s through to the 2000s.
Tiki Black starts with her ‘I write the songs’ show featuring both well-known names and some unsigned artists. We also have our Arts Update show with Patti and Gill, keeping you up to date with all things ‘arty’ that are happening in the Macclesfield area.
Fay Armstrong then comes on air with her Fay’s Musical Sonic Stir-fry show, before Matt Isaacs presents two hours of ‘Matt’s magic months’ featuring top 40 hits from the current month from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Jon Cook starts the afternoon programming with Weekend Rolled Gold, before Harry Atkinson comes along with his Solid Gold show. It’s then Brian Moores with ‘Radio Club’ which features Poetry Slam, where local poets air their work, the infamous ‘Trish’s Dishes’ and interviews with local people sharing their memories. All our shows also feature our what’s on guide of events taking place around Macclesfield.
