Satellites off to sun in style

Macclesfield Express - - SPORT -

SATELLITES Swimming Club are heading for milder climes for their annual warm weather training camp in Callela in the city of Barcelona.

Head coach Ric Howard, a world record holding disability swimmer, is taking a group of talented young swimmers to attend the camp. And the group set off in style thanks to sponsors Chrome Motors, who donated travel bags and are working with the club on donating a training camp team kit.

“I would like to thank Chrome for their kind generosity and support,” said coach Howard.

“This is not a holiday for our swimmers, this is a high intensity training camp, and to arrive in style with professional luggage and kit will empower the team to focus.”

Satellites swimmers are currently raising funds for this camp by doing bag packs and raffles at Macclesfield Leisure Centre. To offer support, contact the chairman Martin Short at chairman@swimsatelite. co.uk.
