Which award are you sponsoring?
Best Company To Work For.
Why have you got involved with the business awards?
Last year we won Best Company to Work For and Best Customer Service, which was a great proclamation of success for both sides of our ‘great place to work, great place to be a customer’ motto.
Why did you choose to sponsor that particular award?
As Head of Culture Architects at Chess Telecom I see day-to-day that people truly are a business’s greatest asset.
I am passionate to promote that spirit of unique people-orientated cultures inspiring great business activity in the local area – businesses who through having great quality and spirit attract and retain the best people and who have a positive effect in the wider community.
Why is East Cheshire such a great place to do business?
East Cheshire is a vibrant place to do business, where the community is willing to be engaged and participate in the great work businesses do in raising money for charity and giving something back to the community.
Happiness fuels success and this kind of relation- ship with the local area is so important to the employees of local businesses.
What is your best piece of business advice?
Simply that ‘the growth and success of your people equals the growth and success of your business’.
Anything else you would like to add?
Best of luck to all the companies entering the award. To generate an award-winning culture is no mean feat and every business leader who applies their passion to creating one will reap the rewards!
