●● A PARISH gardening group is looking for ideas for new projects around Langley.
The Parish Plan gardening group has been working on community plots after identifying planting as a priority for residents in the parish plan survey.
The group is maintaining five sites around Lyme Green and Sutton.
Now the next project is Langley and the group is looking for ideas from residents about areas to be used. They have suggested that Brighton Crescent or Tegsnose Mount could be possible locations.
Any project submitted will be subject to consultation with nearby residents.
The group held a plant swap at The Pleasance and hopes to repeat it, with money raised to be used for the community gardens.
Volunteers should call the group on 01260 252565 or 01260 252824.
