Played in hon­our of Peter Man­nion – a for­mer Mac­cles­field player – it is one of few com­pet­i­tive events for crick­eters aged six-eight years.

Four teams from Mac­cles­field will com­pete against teams from Liver­pool, Bred­bury, Poyn­ton, Prest­bury, Brook­lands for the Man­nion Tro­phy, which has been spon­sored by Com­plete Money and Chrome Mo­tors.

The ac­tion be­gins at 10am on Sun­day at Mac­cles­field CC’s Vic­to­ria Road base and there will be a bar, BBQ and bouncy castle to keep adults and young­sters en­ter­tained through the day.
