Played in honour of Peter Mannion – a former Macclesfield player – it is one of few competitive events for cricketers aged six-eight years.
Four teams from Macclesfield will compete against teams from Liverpool, Bredbury, Poynton, Prestbury, Brooklands for the Mannion Trophy, which has been sponsored by Complete Money and Chrome Motors.
The action begins at 10am on Sunday at Macclesfield CC’s Victoria Road base and there will be a bar, BBQ and bouncy castle to keep adults and youngsters entertained through the day.
