Jobs uncertainty as factory shuts its doors
AROUND 20 jobs have been put at risk after a glass and door factory went into receivership.
East Cheshire Glass, based at Byron Mill on London Road, Macclesfield, was shut on Friday, July 31.
UHY Hacker Young, an accountancy firm based in Manchester, has been appointed as receivers of the company.
The Express was unable to contact the directors of East Cheshire Glass.
The company was founded in 1985 by Steven Platt and Keith Maxwell.
