Yellow day is bright start to firm’s year of fundraising
A FIRM which specialises in shop interiors has kicked off its annual campaign to raise cash for East Cheshire Hospice.
Momentum Instore, based on Tytherington Business Park, celebrated the launch with a ‘Yellow Day’ to raise funds and build awareness.
The head office team donned bright yellow costumes, hunted treasure and hosted the hospice mascot, Sunny the Dog. The event, which raised £117 was the first of a series of scheduled fundraisers Momentum Instore will complete over the next 12 months for the charity.
Rob Gleave, managing director, said: “East Cheshire Hospice is an integral part of the local community and we are delighted that we can make our contribution to their excellent work.
“The event was a huge success with our staff and a special mention must go to our head of business development, Tim Ellis, who was crowned champion of our lemon eating competition and our head of recruitment, Lisa Heath who won best dressed.
“Our first Yellow Day was fantastic start to the fundraising efforts that we can build on in the coming months.”
