●● COUN­CIL­LORS Nick Man­nion and Alift Hare­wood are hold­ing surg­eries on the sec­ond Satur­day of the month be­tween 10am and 12.30pm the Com­mu­nity Re­source Cen­tre on Gilchrist Av­enue on the We­ston es­tate. ●● JOIN Mac­cles­field Chil­dren’s Cen­tre for free ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing den mak­ing, story tents, T-shirt de­sign­ing and free re­fresh­ments at South Park on Au­gust 12 from 1-3pm. ●● DANCERS are in­vited to go along to Mac­cles­field Li­brary to learn a street dance rou­tine.

The event run by Sylk Street Dance will be on Thurs­day Au­gust 13 from 2-3pm.

Tick­ets are £2 per child. The event is suit­able for chil­dren aged six to 12.

Call 01625 374000 for de­tails. ●● HELP for He­roes (H4H) is ask­ing res­i­dents to turn their sum­mer bar­be­cues in to an op­por­tu­nity to fundraise for wounded, in­jured and sick ser­vice per­son­nel, vet­er­ans and their fam­i­lies.

The ‘BBQ for He­roes’ event takes place be­tween Au­gust 15–31.
