Teenager taken to hospital after collision
A TEENAGE boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a road traffic accident.
Officers were called to Park Lane, Poynton, on Tuesday, August 11, at 7.35pm after reports an 18-year-old had been injured in an incident involving a pedestrian and two cars.
The teenager, who is from Poynton, was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
It is believed he had been walking with a dog that was also injured and taken to the vets.
Police say a 23-year-old man, from Cheadle Hulme, has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after a road accident. He will answer bail on September 16.
