Sought-after Didsbury the place to be for Ben
MEET Ben Foster, famous following Julian Wadden’s Have you Met Ben? campaign, splashed throughout the M20 area this week.
He’s the top man brought in to head up Julian Wadden Didsbury.
When teased about his now legendary mugshot, Ben said: “We’re all about being big, bold and innovative at Julian Wadden and I guess Julian wanted M20 customers to know I was here.
“Julian and I have been on each other’s radar for some time and this is just the right time for me to join his team, and more importantly to head up the Didsbury branch.
“I’ve always admired the reputation Julian has gained in Didsbury. He worked for many years in M20 before setting up independently and his reputation consists formidable efficiency, service, attention to detail and never forgetting who he was working for – which is the customer.
“Julian and I are on the same page in how we operate and how a branch should be run – the timing of me joining is that it had to be Didsbury, no other area would do. Didsbury for me is ‘Manchester’s urban village’.
“There’s nowhere else like it in the north west, it’s beautiful, leafy, cool, hugely cosmopolitan and has a great buzz about it.
“Just walk down Burton Road or Wilmslow Road – it’s so alive. The place has huge appeal and so housing here is highly sought after in both sales and lettings. In Didsbury it’s not about whether your property will sell or let, that’s a given, it’s about whether you feel the agent secured the best price for you and worked for your interests; did they listen to you, was your experience with the agent smooth, consistently efficient and dare I say it an enjoyable one?
“I feel there’s huge potential to raise the service bar, and this includes at Julian Wadden Didsbury, we want to be the new breed of estate agent that really does go that extra mile.”
Ben, who has worked in Didsbury before, admits that Didsbury customers deserve much more and that today’s agents should better reflect the area.
He said: “These are the conversations Julian and I have had over the last few months, analysing the best practice embedded in his other South Manchester branches.
“Over the last couple of months I have worked closely with Julian to handpick a new sales team and I am delighted with the local intelligence, expertise and focus on service they will bring.
“My new assistant manager Rachel McKie, who has also worked in Didsbury, has an outstanding track record in executing sales to completion efficiently and relishes her new opportunity with me to drive service standards in estate agency.
“I encourage anyone who has been less than satisfied with another agent or even with us to drop in and meet my new team, I believe we will change your mind.”
Ben Foster joins Julian Wadden this month having run highly successful branches in Wilmslow, Hale and Bramhall, along with previously working in Didsbury.
Ben who is qualified in business management and residential property, brings over 10 years’ branch management experience.
