Po­lice called as man causes dis­tur­bance at Job­cen­tre

A MAN was rep­ri­manded by po­lice af­ter shout­ing in the Job­cen­tre and caus­ing a dis­tur­bance.

Two po­lice cars at­tended the Job­cen­tre on King Ed­ward Street on Thurs­day morn­ing af­ter staff re­ported a dis­tur­bance at the branch.

A man was shout­ing as he walked into the branch.

Of­fi­cers spoke to the man af­ter com­plaints about his be­hav­iour but no ar­rest was made.

A po­lice spokesman said that of­fi­cers were called at 10.15am on Thurs­day to the Job­cen­tre Plus branch.

The spokesman said: “Po­lice at­tended the Job­cen­tre in King Ed­ward Street fol­low­ing re­ports of a dis­tur­bance.

“A 21-year-old man was ad­vised about his be­hav­iour.”
