HOUSE DEATH

A MAN has been found dead in a house in Langley.

Paramedics and po­lice were called to the prop­erty on Coal­pit Lane shortly af­ter 10am on Thurs­day, Au­gust 24 af­ter re­ports of a sud­den death.

On ar­rival of­fi­cers found the body of a 35-year-old man. They are not treat­ing the death as sus­pi­cious.

The coro­ner for has also been in­formed of the death.

BIKE CRASH

A PEN­SIONER biker suf­fered mul­ti­ple in­juries af­ter crash­ing into a barbed wire fence.

The 75-year-old veered off the Cat and Fid­dle road near Mac­cles­field For­est and col­lided with a wire fence at 9pm on Au­gust 27.

Fire­fight­ers had to re­lease the ca­su­alty us­ing bolt crop­pers.

He suf­fered arm, shoul­der and knee in­juries and was taken to Wythen­shawe Hos­pi­tal.
