Physio firm joins Blues to help players stay strong
A TOWN centre physiotherapy firm has joined Macclesfield Rugby Club.
Hogan and Mitchell, based on Waters Green, will be there on match days and help out during training.
Partner Ross Mitchell, 33, is no stranger to rugby. He played for many years before starting his physio training. He later worked with St Helens Rugby Club and Warrington Wolves Rugby League FC.
Ross said: “Working with the Blues is a fantastic opportunity to provide the club with a high level of cover to help reduce injury risk and keep players on the field to be successful.
“As a local business we hope to build a strong relationship with Macclesfield Rugby Club and its supporters.
“We are aware of the strong support the club gets from local people and businesses which is why we were thrilled to get involved ourselves as a local business.
“Providing a thorough screening process and active interventions within the time scales available to part time athletes is a big ask but time invested now will pay dividends come the later part of the season.”
Hogan and Mitchell Physiotherapy was founded by Ross and partner Simon Hogan, 35, in 2012.
