●● AN ARTIST and yoga prac­ti­tioner is com­bin­ing her two loves in a new ex­hi­bi­tion.

Deb­o­rah Ann Graham is host­ing a preview for ‘What Colour is your Trikonasana?’ at Bolling­ton Arts Cen­tre on Sun­day, Septem­ber 6, from 2pm to 4pm and the paint­ings ex­hi­bi­tion will run un­til Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 4. She said: “This ex­hi­bi­tion is a re­flec­tion of my two pas­sions, art and yoga.”

Ba­jaly Suso comes from a Gam­bian fam­ily which has passed down the tra­di­tion of mu­si­cian­ship through many gen­er­a­tions.

He has been play­ing and singing the tra­di­tional songs of the Gam­bia for al­most 20 years.

Dressed in tra­di­tional robes, singing an­cient songs and telling folk tales of his na­tive land, he will give an en­tranc­ing per­for­mance of tra­di­tional, clas­si­cal and orig­i­nal kora mu­sic at Bolling­ton Arts Cen­tre on Fri­day, Septem­ber 4, from 8pm, com­bined with med­i­ta­tive singing. ●● BOLLING­TON and Dis­trict Hor­ti­cul­tural So­ci­ety and Flower Club will host its An­nual Show on Satur­day, Septem­ber 5. The 51st an­nual show will fea­ture a va­ri­ety of con­tests.

Any­one can en­ter the classes which in­clude flow­ers, flo­ral art, bak­ing, pre­serves, veg­eta­bles, fruit, wine and a chil­dren’s sec­tion.

The clos­ing date for en­tries is 9pm tonight (Septem­ber 2).

The show will be held at Bolling­ton Civic Hall on Satur­day, be­tween 2pm to 4pm.
