Bowlers im­press but Prest­bury fall short

PREST­BURY won the toss against Dis­ley and de­cided to bowl.

It looked like Dis­ley would post a good score thanks to Reynolds (47), Clarke (44), Hilder (23) and Ar­row­smith (41).

How­ever, Prest­bury got back into the game thanks to good catches by Rom­mel Gon­dall and Si­mon Ed­munds, who was keep­ing wicket for first time in 15 years.

There was also good bowl­ing by Aquell Ahmed (2-42), who was sup­ported by Kal­ish Bathia (2-22) and Joe Sed­don (3-18).

Dis­ley were bowled out for 212 af­ter be­ing on 125-2 at one stage.

Prest­bury were let down by their bat­ting again – Myles Ma­son, Rom­mel and Aquell all go­ing for sin­gle fig­ures.

How­ever, Ed­munds had a good day, hit­ting 58, sup­ported by Ab­dul­lah Waseem (36), but Prest­bury were all out for 153.
