Bowlers impress but Prestbury fall short
PRESTBURY CC BILL LIVESLEY
PRESTBURY won the toss against Disley and decided to bowl.
It looked like Disley would post a good score thanks to Reynolds (47), Clarke (44), Hilder (23) and Arrowsmith (41).
However, Prestbury got back into the game thanks to good catches by Rommel Gondall and Simon Edmunds, who was keeping wicket for first time in 15 years.
There was also good bowling by Aquell Ahmed (2-42), who was supported by Kalish Bathia (2-22) and Joe Seddon (3-18).
Disley were bowled out for 212 after being on 125-2 at one stage.
Prestbury were let down by their batting again – Myles Mason, Rommel and Aquell all going for single figures.
However, Edmunds had a good day, hitting 58, supported by Abdullah Waseem (36), but Prestbury were all out for 153.
