TV wives are back
THE Real Housewives of Cheshire returned to our screens with a new series.
The popular ITVBe reality show follows the lives of glamorous housewives as they go about day to day life in Cheshire’s “Golden Triangle” the area around Prestbury, Mottram St Andrew, Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. The second series started on Monday and again stars stylish WAGs Tanya Bardsley and Leanne Brown, who both live in Prestbury, as well as Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon and Magali Gorre.
The ladies kept us entertained over 10 weeks in the first series with their champagne-fuelled exploits and the second, screened at 10pm, looks set to be even more dramatic.
The show was a ratings winner for ITV after the broadcaster launched its new digital channel last year.
Speaking of the new series Lauren said: “We have relaxed into our role and friendships and we are more natural. But, no, the rows haven’t stopped. If anything it’s gone worse.” Ampika added: “There’s drama, glamour, tears and laughter, love and passion. It’s a lot more dramatic and everybody gets on each other’s nerves.”
