Goal­keeper. How long have you been play­ing for?: Poyn­ton FC – one sea­son. Other clubs: Poyn­ton Work­ing Men’s Club. What do you en­joy most about it?: Win­ning... the buzz of

win­ning with your mates! How of­ten do you train?: I was the Led­ley King of the team... but the gaffer has made it clear I need to train, which I en­joy ac­tu­ally. We train once a week at the ground, Tues­day evenings. Where do you train?: Poyn­ton Sports Club. What do you en­joy the most about your sport / po­si­tion there?: Clean

sheets... love ‘em! Where and when do you meet?: For week­end games – at the ground, one hour be­fore kick off! What is the best thing about Mac­cles­field?: Get­ting to play at the Moss Rose and win­ning the Macc Cup in front of a crowd of over a hun­dred – we don’t get those num­bers at Lon­don Road.

What is the worst thing about Mac­cles­field?: It’s in the mid­dle of nowhere! What is the most mem­o­rable sport­sre­lated thing to have hap­pened to you?: I played at An­field... that was bril­liant! What has been your great­est sport­ing achieve­ment?: The Macc Cup win. Do you play any other sports?: Only football mat­ters!
