Silkmen outsiders at Town

Macclesfield Express - - SPORT -

MACCLESFIELD have now claimed successive scalps after they accounted for high-flying Woking last Saturday but the Silkmen aren’t fancied to make it three on the spin as they travel to Bromley this weekend.

Town are chalked up as 2/1 outsiders by bet365 to pick up their second away win of the campaign at the expense of the Londoners, BetVictor’s well-backed, 5/4 favourites and it’s 5/2 courtesy of Stan James for the points to be divided.

There’s been some early interest in a 1-1 scoreline, now trading at 11/2 (William Hill), Ladbrokes rate a score draw at 3/1 and in bet365’s handicaps, John Askey’s troops receive a goal start at odds of 4/6. Buoyed by their side’s back-toback victories however, many fans will be in confident mood and for them Win mark 9/1 against a 2-1 Macclesfield triumph.
