Name: An­gela Rior­dan. Where do you live?: Prest­bury. Bio: Mar­ried with three boys. Orig­i­nally from Lon­don. Moved to Mac­cles­field 20 years ago. Hob­bies in­clude golf and bak­ing bread. What inspired you to be­come a fundraiser?

I got in­volved in fundrais­ing af­ter go­ing to lots of events. Hav­ing a good cir­cle of friends that are very sup­port­ive, my task was made easy. What do you en­joy most about do­ing this? I get great sat­is­fac­tion know­ing this drop-in can con­tinue run­ning. It’s an in­spir­ing place. Lo­cal shops and busi­ness have been very sup­port­ive. What is your great­est achieve­ments?

Walk­ing the dog along

the River Bollin. Ideally how would you spend ev­ery day? Ideally I would like to sit down for five min­utes and re­lax. What was the best hol­i­day you have been on? Madeira, hol­i­day­ing with the fam­ily.

If money was no ob­ject what would you do?

Do what Bill Gates does. What one piece of ad­vice would you give?

Open your eyes and look around. Be po­lite, smile, and have good man­ners. What was your first job?: Work­ing on a lob­ster
