15 people accused of drug offences
FOURTEEN people have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
The men – eight of which are from Macclesfield – appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court.
They include: Peter John Jones, 50, of Bread Street; Thomas Jackson, 18, of Wenlock Close; David Anthony Hunter, 35, of Stoneleigh Close; John Thomas Hambleton, 47, of Sutton Close; Michael John Green, 35, of Buckfast Close; Thomas Flannagan, 29, of Brynmore Drive; Stephen Day, 43, of Kendal Road and Darren John Cooper, 39, of Pennine Court, Carisbrook Avenue.
They have all been remanded in custody.
Five other men face the same charges and were remanded in custody. They are: Paul Roberts, 38, of Erin Close, Toxteth, Liverpool; Benjamin Charles Preece, 33, of HMP Altcourse; Joseph Peter McGuire, 37, of HMP Forest Bank; Mark Canavan, 47, of HMP Liverpool; and Thomas David Brown, 30, of HMP Hull.
Stephen Martin O’Neill, 44, of Levens Street, Manchester, faces the same charge and has been released on bail. Adam James Harrison, 29, of Cedar Grove, Macclesfield, has been charged with supplying class A drugs and was released on bail.
All are now due to appear at Chester Crown Court next week.
