Fashion show for charity
TENANTS at a charity are getting their best catwalk struts ready for a fashion show to raise money for the centre.
The users at the Rossendale Trust will be the stars of the show at the fundraising fashion show.
The trust provides accommodation for adults with learning and physical disabilities, as well as a host of activities for the people it helps, and money raised at the show will towards this.
The fashion show is back by popular demand, taking place next month at the Tytherington Club.
Clothes for the fashion show are being supplied by SOS Boutique in Bramhall.
Sue Heaven, head of fundraising at the trust, said: “Our tenants and staff members are the supermodels at the show.
“There will be styles to suit all ages and sizes, the clothes are fabulous, affordable and fun. Everything is available for sale on the night.
“A raffle will be drawn with fabulous prizes donated by the stalls.
“There will also be a range of handbags, scarves and accessories, beautiful cushions, Christmas cards and calendars and many other interesting items.
“It’s a fun evening with something for everyone. Encourage your friends to come along and pick up something a bit different to wear or give as a present.”
The show will take place on Thursday, October 22 at the Tytherington Club, Macclesfield.
Tickets cost £10 which includes canapes and a goodie bag. Tickets are available from Sue on 01260 252216 or by email via sue.heaven@ rossendaletrust.org.
Doors open at 6pm to allow people to browse the stalls, with the show starting at 7pm.
