Singers from the group are re­hears­ing for the show en­ti­tled Show­time.

The week-long show will have mu­si­cal num­bers from Chicago, Les Mis­er­ables, Grease and Moulin Rouge – not for­get­ting the odd funny sketch.

As part of the en­trance fee a warm­ing hot­pot will be served by the cast di­rect to ta­bles.

Bolling­ton Vet­eri­nary Cen­tre on Grimshaw Lane wants to move into the for­mer bank on Ash­brook Road.

The build­ing would be ex­tended to ac­com­mo­date the surgery.

The vets wants to re­lo­cate to the site to give im­proved fa­cil­i­ties and se­cure a fu­ture in the town and for its 10 staff.

The ap­pli­ca­tion is sub­mit­ted to Cheshire East coun­cil and a de­ci­sion is ex­pected soon. ●● A NIGHT of 80s mu­sic will take place at the Spin­ners Arms.

The I Love the 80s event starts at 8pm on Satur­day, Septem­ber 26.

It’s free ad­mis­sion and sup­ports lo­cal char­i­ties as well as the fund in aid of those af­fected by the ex­plo­sion at the wood mill in Bosley ear­lier this year. ●● CHAR­ITY Chris­tians Against Poverty will hold job club ses­sions on Mon­days start­ing on Septem­ber 28.

The char­ity runs job clubs to help peo­ple get into em­ploy­ment, with ses­sions to meet other job­seek­ers, get sup­port and gain skills to find work.

The events will take place at the Chris­tian Life Church, from 1pm to 4pm.
