Win­dow com­pany gets new premises at busi­ness park

HOME im­prove­ment com­pany Solfix has taken over East Cheshire Glass and has opened a branch at its premises at Tyther­ing­ton Busi­ness Park.

East Cheshire Glass went into for­mal liq­ui­da­tion last month and Solfix has ac­quired a num­ber of its as­sets, in­clud­ing the name.

East Cheshire Glass will op­er­ate out of the Solfix’s ex­ist­ing premises at Tyther­ing­ton Busi­ness Park, with mod­ern of­fices, fac­tory and show­room fa­cil­i­ties.

Ian Moran, man­ag­ing di­rec­tor, said: “We are de­lighted to be able to carry on the good name and rep­u­ta­tion of East Cheshire Glass, a busi­ness that has pro­vided qual­ity prod­ucts and ser­vices through­out East Cheshire for some 30 years.”

He added: “Adding the East Cheshire Glass brand to Solfix shows our com­mit­ment to long term sup­ply and ser­vice in our re­gion.”

The busi­ness will op­er­ate out of new premises at Tyther­ing­ton Busi­ness Park. Mod­ern of­fices, fac­tory and show­room fa­cil­i­ties will en­sure East Cheshire cus­tomers can be well pro­vided for and sup­ported.

The new man­age­ment team are in­tend­ing to sup­ply all the ser­vices and prod­ucts that East Cheshire Glass has be­come well known for, as a long es­tab­lished glazier, sup­plier of win­dows, doors and as­so­ci­ated prod­ucts.

Solfix also has of­fices in Bramhall.
